No. 1490/2018.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Maharashtra Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2017 (Maharashtra Act 61 of 2017), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts warehousemen whose annual value of the warehousing of goods does not exceed one thousand rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the Registrar in writing of the commencement of the warehousing of goods within fifteen days of such commencement.
