No. 3612/2015.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009 (Gujarat Act 8 of 2009), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts private tutors whose annual value of the giving of private tuition does not exceed ten thousand rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the Commission in writing of the commencement of the giving of private tuition within sixty days of such commencement.
