No. 3286/2013.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Kerala Tourism (Conservation and Preservation of Areas) Act, 2005 (Kerala Act 8 of 2005), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts tour operators whose annual value of the conduct of tours does not exceed five thousand rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the Director General in writing of the commencement of the conduct of tours within sixty days of such commencement.
