No. 1575/2008.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Special Economic Zones (Special Provisions) Act, 2005 (Tamil Nadu Act 18 of 2005), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts developers whose annual value of the development of a Special Economic Zone does not exceed ten thousand rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the Director General in writing of the commencement of the development of a Special Economic Zone within sixty days of such commencement.
