No. 3758/2003.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999 (Maharashtra Act 30 of 1999), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts licensees of an explosives magazine whose annual value of the storage of explosives does not exceed one thousand rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the District Magistrate in writing of the commencement of the storage of explosives within fifteen days of such commencement.
