No. 1275/2001.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Private Clinical Establishments (Regulation) Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 4 of 1997), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts hospitals whose annual value of the running of a hospital does not exceed ten thousand rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the Licensing Authority in writing of the commencement of the running of a hospital within thirty days of such commencement.
