No. 1889/2000.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Maharashtra State Commission for Women Act, 1993 (Maharashtra Act 15 of 1993), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts creches whose annual value of the running of a creche does not exceed five thousand rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the Commission in writing of the commencement of the running of a creche within seven days of such commencement.
