No. 1860/1999.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Act, 1997 (Karnataka Act 33 of 1997), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts guardians appointed by the court whose annual value of the management of the property of a minor does not exceed five hundred rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the Registrar General in writing of the commencement of the management of the property of a minor within thirty days of such commencement.
