No. 1769/1991.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Kerala Motor Transport Workers Welfare Fund Act, 1985 (Kerala Act 21 of 1985), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts transport operators whose annual value of the carriage of goods by road does not exceed five hundred rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the State Transport Authority in writing of the commencement of the carriage of goods by road within sixty days of such commencement.
