No. 2532/1989.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Fire Service Act, 1985 (Tamil Nadu Act 11 of 1985), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts organisers of a mass gathering whose annual value of the holding of a mass gathering does not exceed one thousand rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the State Authority in writing of the commencement of the holding of a mass gathering within twenty-four hours of such commencement.
