No. 2491/1989.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986 (Uttar Pradesh Act 7 of 1986), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts persons employed in a defence installation whose annual value of the entry into a defence installation does not exceed five hundred rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the Director-General in writing of the commencement of the entry into a defence installation within sixty days of such commencement.
