No. 1827/1988.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988 (Andhra Pradesh Act 10 of 1988), the State Government hereby appoints the 14th December, 1988 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 4 of the said Act shall come into force.
