No. 3375/1977.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976 (Goa Act 14 of 1976), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts sports bodies whose annual value of the organisation of sport does not exceed ten thousand rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the Agency in writing of the commencement of the organisation of sport within fifteen days of such commencement.
