No. 2218/1974.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972 (Uttar Pradesh Act 13 of 1972), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts landlords whose annual value of the letting of premises does not exceed ten thousand rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the Authority in writing of the commencement of the letting of premises within thirty days of such commencement.
