No. 1661/1968.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1961 (Tamil Nadu Act 58 of 1961), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts holders of land whose annual value of the holding of land does not exceed five hundred rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the Collector in writing of the commencement of the holding of land within thirty days of such commencement.
