No. 2149/1968.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960 (Andhra Pradesh Act 15 of 1960), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts landlords whose annual value of the letting of premises does not exceed ten thousand rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the Authority in writing of the commencement of the letting of premises within thirty days of such commencement.
