No. 2462/1962.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Karnataka Money Lenders Act, 1961 (Karnataka Act 12 of 1961), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts warehousemen whose annual value of the warehousing of goods does not exceed one thousand rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the Registrar in writing of the commencement of the warehousing of goods within fifteen days of such commencement.
