No. 1234/1956.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Maharashtra Nursing Homes Registration Act, 1949 (Maharashtra Act 15 of 1949), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts hospitals whose annual value of the running of a hospital does not exceed ten thousand rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the Licensing Authority in writing of the commencement of the running of a hospital within ninety days of such commencement.
