No. 3460/1954.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Bombay Industrial Relations Act, 1946 (Maharashtra Act 11 of 1946), the State Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts contractors whose annual value of the supply of contract labour does not exceed one thousand rupees from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the Chief Inspector in writing of the commencement of the supply of contract labour within fifteen days of such commencement.
