No. 856/1950.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act, 1949 (Maharashtra Act 59 of 1949), the State Government hereby appoints the 21st July, 1950 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 14 of the said Act shall come into force.
