S.O. 1069(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Chief Election Commissioner and Other Election Commissioners (Appointment, Conditions of Service and Term of Office) Act, 2023 (49 of 2023), the Central Government hereby appoints the 12th January, 2025 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 26 of the said Act shall come into force.
