S.O. 1024(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2007 (2 of 2007), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts hostels for students of Scheduled Castes whose the running of an institution for persons with disabilities does not exceed ten thousand rupees in value in a financial year from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the Chief Commissioner in writing of the commencement of the running of an institution for persons with disabilities within sixty days of such commencement.
