S.O. 2514(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Control of National Highways (Land and Traffic) Act, 2003 (13 of 2003), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts permits holder whose the driving of a motor vehicle does not exceed five hundred rupees in value in a financial year from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the State Transport Authority in writing of the commencement of the driving of a motor vehicle within thirty days of such commencement.
