S.O. 1797(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Geographical Indications of Goods (Registration and Protection) Act, 1999 (48 of 1999), the Central Government hereby appoints the 26th April, 2001 as the date on which the remaining provisions of the said Act shall come into force.
