S.O. 2354(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Manipur Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 (26 of 1994), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts owners of a building in a village whose the keeping of a shop in a village market does not exceed one hundred rupees in value in a financial year from the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, subject to the condition that every such person shall intimate the Gram Panchayat in writing of the commencement of the keeping of a shop in a village market within thirty days of such commencement.
