S.O. 2749(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Goa, Daman and Diu Reorganisation Act followed by Constitution (Fifty-sixth Amendment) Act, 1987 (18 of 1987), the Central Government hereby appoints the 14th April, 1988 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 15 of the said Act shall come into force.
