S.O. 2679(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986 (60 of 1986), the Central Government hereby appoints the 7th March, 1987 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 8 of the said Act shall come into force.
