S.O. 1986(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1980 (40 of 1980), the Central Government hereby appoints the 10th November, 1982 as the date on which the remaining provisions of the said Act shall come into force.
