S.O. 1846(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Prevention of Blackmarketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 (7 of 1980), the Central Government hereby appoints the 28th January, 1981 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 24 of the said Act shall come into force.
