S.O. 1696(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Delhi Police Act, 1978 (34 of 1978), the Central Government hereby appoints the 19th March, 1979 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 10 of the said Act shall come into force.
