S.O. 1928(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Defence and Internal Security of India Act, 1971 (42 of 1971), the Central Government hereby appoints the 4th January, 1973 as the date on which the remaining provisions of the said Act shall come into force.
