S.O. 3887(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Union Territories (Direct Election to the House of the People) Act, 1965 (49 of 1965), the Central Government hereby appoints the 13th November, 1965 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 15 of the said Act shall come into force.
