S.O. 1216(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Voluntary Surrender of Salaries (Exemption from Taxation) Act, 1961 (46 of 1961), the Central Government hereby appoints the 29th November, 1962 as the date on which the provisions of the said Act shall come into force.
