S.O. 2173(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh (Transfer of Territories) Act, 1959 (47 of 1959), the Central Government hereby appoints the 28th September, 1959 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 8 of the said Act shall come into force.
