S.O. 1477(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Gift-tax Act, 1958 (18 of 1958), the Central Government hereby appoints the 27th December, 1958 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 20 of the said Act shall come into force.
