S.O. 3166(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the River Boards Act, 1956 (49 of 1956), the Central Government hereby appoints the 20th November, 1956 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 6 of the said Act shall come into force.
