S.O. 2683(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Lok Sahayak Sena Act, 1956 (53 of 1956), the Central Government hereby appoints the 8th December, 1956 as the date on which the provisions of the said Act shall come into force.
