S.O. 3526(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the State Bank of India Act, 1955 (23 of 1955), the Central Government hereby appoints the 13th October, 1955 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 5 of the said Act shall come into force.
