S.O. 3983(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Salaries and Allowances of Officers of Parliament Act, 1953 (20 of 1953), the Central Government hereby appoints the 13th January, 1954 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 17 of the said Act shall come into force.
