S.O. 790(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Damodar Valley Corporation Act, 1948 (14 of 1948), the Central Government hereby appoints the 7th May, 1949 as the date on which the remaining provisions of the said Act shall come into force.
