S.O. 2530(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Territorial Army Act, 1948 (56 of 1948), the Central Government hereby appoints the 27th January, 1949 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 9 of the said Act shall come into force.
