S.O. 2262(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Damodar Valley Corporation Act, 1948 (14 of 1948), the Central Government hereby appoints the 18th July, 1948 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 10 of the said Act shall come into force.
