S.O. 1031(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Oil Fields (Regulation and Development) Act, 1948 (53 of 1948), the Central Government hereby appoints the 15th June, 1948 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 5 of the said Act shall come into force.
