S.O. 2491(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Destruction of Records Act, 1917 (5 of 1917), the Central Government hereby appoints the 10th July, 1917 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 22 of the said Act shall come into force.
