S.O. 491(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Suits Valuation Act, 1887 (7 of 1887), the Central Government hereby appoints the 23rd May, 1888 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 9 of the said Act shall come into force.
