S.O. 280(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Chota Nagpur Encumbered Estates Act, 1876 (6 of 1876), the Central Government hereby appoints the 24th September, 1876 as the date on which the provisions of the said Act shall come into force.
