S.O. 2003(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Madras Civil Courts Act, 1873 (3 of 1873), the Central Government hereby appoints the 30th October, 1873 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 18 of the said Act shall come into force.
