STANDING ORDER
To
All Inspectors of Endowments,
Subject: The conduct of a religious fair by contractors for a religious fair under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951 (Madhya Pradesh Act 30 of 1951), the Law Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the conduct of a religious fair by contractors for a religious fair.
2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for a religious fair carrying on the conduct of a religious fair shall make an application in Form F to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. The Inspector of Endowments shall ensure that register of trusts is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within one hundred and eighty days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
