STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Tahsildars,

Subject: The possession of land by persons in possession of land under the Andhra Pradesh Land Titling Act, 2023, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Land Titling Act, 2023 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 2023), the Tourism Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the possession of land by persons in possession of land.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person in possession of land carrying on the possession of land shall make an application in Form 1 to the Tahsildar within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. The Deputy Tahsildar shall ensure that holding is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Tahsildar within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
