STANDING ORDER

All Tahsildars,

Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956 (Rajasthan Act 15 of 1956), the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 2 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Tahsildar shall ensure that certificate of occupancy is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Revenue Divisional Officer within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Rajasthan.
